Born in Kansas City, Missouri and raised in Independence, Missouri. I studied art in high school and college where I was blessed to win numerous art awards and ribbons. In Missouri I studied under the late artist Andrew Thoman.
On the West Coast studied under California artist Bert Carter. I entered many art shows where I continued to win ribbons for my work, as well as selling oil paintings to hundreds of clients throughout the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Slovakia, New Zealand, and Switzerland.
My work is enjoyed in private collections with some of the more notable collectors Art Linkletter, Debbie Reynolds and Debbie Reynold’s mother.
After a couple of years living in California, I partnered with three other artist and opened a gallery in Laguna Beach, California. That same year opened an additional gallery and studio in Canoga Park, California where I taught oil painting as well.
My love of God’s beautiful earth creations inspire my paintings which start many times with on location watercolor sketches or photos and then back to the studio to capture God’s beauty.
In 2007 I moved to Treasure Island, Florida where Florida’s west coast now seem to influence my paintings. In 2013 moved to
the Siesta Key – Sarasota area and close to my son, daughter in law and granddaughter, where they have invigorated me to continue capturing God’s palette.
You can find a few of my paintings every day from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm at The Hub Baja Grill located in the Siesta Key Village, Florida. Come by enjoy live entertainment, fantastic food, and great service.

I am continuously surrounded by nature’s splendor here in Southwest Florida. Whether it is boating, hiking, or enjoying the beach, I am constantly moved by nature’s beauty. My inspiration comes from the magnificence of both the Siesta Key beaches and experiences traveling the globe.

I have 20+ paintings on the walls of Bread Bandits – 3546 S. Osprey – Sarasota, Florida available. Their hours are 7 days a week 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Another location you can fins my paintings is in the Meadows at Fidela’s General Store. Fidela’s General Store is located at 4921 Ridgewood Meadows, Sarasota, Florida. Their hours are 10:00am to 6:00pm 7 days a week.

I’m trying to purchase a canvas of green lifeguard stand and am not able to do so. I have purchased 6 canvas pictures of SK and would like additional pictures. Thank you
